Publishing, limits and the 72 hour rule

An active bio page is public and appears in search engines. Your plan sets how many you can have active at once.

If you go over your limit

This happens when you downgrade, or when a payment fails and your plan drops.

1. The pages your plan no longer covers are marked inactive. They stop being public straight away.
2. After 72 hours they are deleted, and the handle is released for anyone to claim.

If you restore your plan within those 72 hours, the pages become active again with nothing lost.

This is worth repeating

Downgrading can permanently delete a bio page, and its address, three days later. If you are changing plans and want to keep a page, make sure it is within your new plan's allowance first.

Search engines

Active bio pages and their articles are listed in dmrabbit's sitemap so search engines can find them. Inactive pages are not.

Pages disabled by dmrabbit

A page that breaks our terms can be disabled. That is separate from the limit above and you would be contacted about it.
