Two kinds of post, and why the number in the link never changes.
Everything on your bio page is a post, and there are exactly two kinds.

Both can have a thumbnail, a title, a description and tags.
Every post gets a number, and it never changes
Posts are numbered in the order you create them, and that number is permanent. It is what makes "link in bio, post 12" work as an instruction.
The order posts are displayed in is separate and you can rearrange it freely without affecting any numbers.
Renaming an article does not break its link
An article address contains its number and its title, but only the number is used to find it. Retitle an article whenever you like: old links keep working.
Writing an article
The editor gives you bold, italic, strikethrough and links, plus headings, lists, quotes, images, code blocks and dividers.
Formatting outside that set is removed when you save. Pasting from Word or Google Docs usually brings styling that will not survive, so check the result after pasting.
Curly quotes and long dashes are converted to their plain equivalents automatically, including in pasted text.

Images are uploaded straight from your browser to our image service. You can reuse anything you have uploaded before.
