Blocking someone

Any contact can be blocked. A blocked contact is skipped by every automation on your account.

What blocking does

• Automations stop replying to them. No public replies, no DMs, no follow requests.
• Their messages still arrive in your inbox.
• You can still reply to them yourself. Blocking applies to automations, not to you.

What blocking is not

This is not an Instagram block. They can still see your content, comment on it and message you exactly as before. dmrabbit simply stops answering automatically.

If you want to block someone properly, do it in Instagram.

When to use it

The usual cases are someone who repeatedly triggers an automation they should not, a competitor farming your replies, or a conversation you would rather handle personally every time.

Unblocking

Reversible at any time from the same place. Automations resume from their next message.
